Frequently asked questions:

  1. Can I come if I am new to yoga? YES! We actually love introducing people to yoga and helping them discover how yoga can be uniquely woven into each individual’s wellness journey.

  2. What if I can't stay for the entire retreat? We always feel a little yoga is better than none at all, so if you need to leave early or come late, that is completely fine. You will need to still sign up for the entire retreat but you will be able to pick and choose which parts you come to if you can not stay for the entire time.

  3. How do I select my breakout sessions? Once you sign up, you will be emailed a link to sign up for your desired sessions and make your custom itinerary for the day.

  4. What if I change my mind once I arrive and want to switch my sessions? Sessions are filled on a first come first serve basis, so as long as there is space, you are welcome to change your agenda throughout the day.

  5. Lunch is provided. What if I have allergies? With our yoga studio located inside a holistic doctors office, we are very aware of the importance of having dietary restrictions met. Each participant will be sent an intake form which will ask about dietary needs. We will do all that we can to make sure you are safe and can enjoy your retreat with no fear of food allergies. If a one-on-one conversation is needed, we will gladly speak individually to ensure this is possible.

  6. I don’t think I can “do yoga” for 5 hours. Is this day retreat for me? A lot of people are surprised when they come on one of our multi-day retreats or even sign up for our yoga teacher training that we do not “do yoga” the entire time. :-). Yoga is much more than all the poses you see in the media. This year’s Taste of Yoga Day Retreat has been specifically curated with no asana practices. You will be introduced to other limbs of yoga such as Breathwork, energetic anatomy, mindfulness, introspection, connection to community, nourishing foods and tea and so much more!

Reach out if you have additional questions. We look so forward to holding space for you to have a Taste of Yoga Day Retreat!
