It all started when…

I became pregnant with twins in 2005!  I needed an alternative to high impact exercise and a soul sister introduced me to yoga.  I quickly realized yoga was much more than just a physical practice in strength & flexibility.  I left each class with an inner calm, focus & overwhelming feeling of being grounded and yet capable of anything!   After I had my two boys, I returned to my mat as quickly as possible and continued to dive deeper into my yoga practice.  As a mother, I wanted to teach my boys to follow their passions and to do what makes them happy.  To lead by example and follow my heart, I enrolled in  RYT200 training at Flourish Yoga+Wellbeing.  I might not have taken this leap of faith if it was not for the unconditional love and support of my husband & family for which I will always be grateful.  I began with an open mind & heart – ready for the universe to point me to my true North.  Each step along my teacher training path encouraged me to share yoga with others.  After completing my teacher training, Roots & Wings Yoga Wellness organically took root as a way for me to share yoga with others.  One of my favorite mottos is that life is about the journey - not the final destination.  I believe yoga is for everyone and I love sharing it with all levels of students.  I am grateful for each breath, each day and the lessons it has to offer.  So, if you would like take a yogi adventure, I am honored to have you join me.  Namaste.

As the world is ever evolving so is Roots & Wings Yoga Wellness. I am so thankful to currently be offering weekly classes inside OUR FIT CLUB. Visit our online schedule to see a list of current offerings. You can also find me around town at various pop-up class locations, sport complexes, and corporate office spaces.
